mainly music

What is mainly music?

mainly music is a weekly session for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their parents or carers.
It’s a relaxed, friendly space where you and your child can enjoy musical activities together, while also meeting other local families.

Sessions are designed especially for young children and the adults who care for them. You don’t need any musical ability.

What happens at a session?

Each session usually includes

• Around 30 minutes of music time, with simple songs, actions, musical activity and movement that little ones love
• Play time and refreshments, giving children space to explore and adults time to chat
• A warm, welcoming atmosphere where families can join in at their own pace

There’s no pressure to perform or 'get it right'. Many families find mainly music becomes a gentle and joyful part of their weekly routine.

Who is mainly music for?
